Everything was great! They offered free Wi-Fi, which was a nice touch. the staff and the owner were friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. My single room came with some handy amenities like an electric kettle, microwave, and air conditioning. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable. 😊.

A decent place for overnight stay. Standard queen room with a comfortable bed. Paid $ 230. Marvellous and unbeatable setting, just off the train station, Geelong football stadium and town centre. Also, reasonably close to the Esplanade.
Wi-Fi was slow.

Well, it was a REALLY AMAZING stay for a night before starting a GOR Trip. As for me, the location was comfortable and unbeatable, really close to eastern beach, the restaurant and Geelong waterfront and CBD Price. It also was to AVALON airport.

noisy room, dated decor
the room was clean and tidy with a good shower.
the motel is on the main highway so it's pretty noisy. the interior shows its age with 60s decor and the smoke alarm in the first room was dismantled.

The couple, who I presume own it, were superb. Just the right level of friendlyness and chattiness, without being intrusive, just brilliant. Room was clean and tidy, with good free Wifi access which was a great bonus. Location is nice and near the city centre, which leads onto a cracking beach area.
The motor inn is just of the main road into Geelong, which sometimes made leaving the location difficult.

Location and price was reasonable for my 'thankfully' short stay.
1: No control of smokers. It is simply not good enough to proclaim a room as 'Non Smoking' and then provide! Smokers Seats/Tins for Butts, right outside each room's entry door. Suffice to state the tobacco smells waft in! I detected cigarette smoke odour from the Lounge Cushions, sit down and cop a further waft of smoke odour. 2: PARKING, it looked OK, except there is no control over where people park. More signage might assist to ensure a client's parking spot is retained exclusively for their use. 3. ELECTRICALS: Loose switch plates and a broken switch toggle for control of the Ensuite Exhaust Fan suggested to me a lack of Electrical Maintenance. 4: THE LITTLE THINGS: Witnessing rubbish bags attached to walls with paper clips did not give the impression of good house management.
